My friends call me Jinny,

I'm a story-driven oil painter based in Fort Worth, Texas, exploring what memory, connection, and the wonders of everyday life look like through art. I hope my paintings serve as an invitation to slow down and reflect on the stories that we hold closest.

As a young girl who kept her head buried in books, I knew early on that I wanted to take part in telling stories. I’m really grateful for my parents who encouraged this by giving me the freedom to pursue writing, photography, videography, and art as part of my education. Ultimately, painting was what I kept coming back to. It was where I found my voice, as well as so much joy.

My greatest hope and goal in pursuing this career is to steward this gift well by honoring the Ultimate Creator and loving his people.

I am a recent grad of Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Creative Media and had the wonderful opportunity to study art abroad in Florence, Italy.

Along with art, I also love making coffee and would love to make you something at Serve Coffee and Goods in Aledo, TX :)
